All About Me

As a fourth year student, about to graduate from the Forerunner Music Academy of The International House of Prayer University (IHOPU), I am learning and growing in music in every area of study.  I hope to be a worship leader in the coming years.  Also, as a singer/song writer, I want to display the heart of God to the lost.  I am confident the Lord will use me and guide me through my weak, "Yes".  I know that I am nothing without Him, but as I die to myself, I allow the Holy Spirit to move in and through me.  My motto: "Less of me and more of Him." I want to get out of the way and allow Him to do what He wants.  I just come along for the ride!  I have totally surrendered myself to Him through a consecrated lifestyle of prayer, meditation of the word, and fasting, so that I may be an empty vessel for Him to equip and send out!

Ever since the Lord gripped my heart in the Fire in the night internship here at IHOP, I have contended in the place of prayer.  My desire is to see the fullness of the Lord's heart come to fruition in these last years.  As His friend, beloved, and servant, I have given myself to the place of prayer until He comes back to the earth to claim His bride.  I want to love what He loves and hate what He hates.  I aspire to be like Mary of Bethany; sitting at the Lord's feet, gazing on His beauty, choosing the one thing that matters, pouring out my love, as a sweet offering.

Since I was a little girl, the Lord placed a love for music inside of me.  I would sing everywhere I went.  Now as an adult, I know that I am a prophetic singer for Him.  He has given me this voice to proclaim His word and truth through song.  I believe that music is one of the main ways to reach my generation.  Young adults are constantly bombarded by media.  One of those, being music.  Music is a spiritual thing.  The Lord doesn't have music around His throne room for no reason.  Music was made to move our mind, body, and emotions.  Now-a-days, young adults are searching for something that satisfies.  He longs to capture those who are searching, through His song.  This is what I was made for!
