Things That Have Happened This Year!

Hello everyone!

This year a lot has happened, but first I want to apologize for not keeping in touch with you and keeping you informed with what is going on in my life!  I really appreciate all of you and the Lord has been speaking to me about staying diligent in this area! I allowed life to get busy and I did not keep my newsletters a priority.  I am making this blog so that I can write on it regularly instead of sending PDF files to each of your emails! I hope this works better! :)

So to update you on what has been happening this last year, I am in my second year of the Forerunner Music Academy.  I am finished with the first semester!  I loved every minute of it! It is such a privilege to learn from wise leaders that love the Lord and speak with the power of the Holy Spirit in my classes.  This year I have taken Hymns of Revelation, Sermon on the Mount, Keys Lab II, Ear Training, Theory, and Vocal IV.  I am
just about to finish Life of David as well!

I have learned so much this year.  In Hymns of Revelation we focused on the songs that are being sung around the throne room of God!  It still blows me away that He chose to surround himself with melodies and songs!! These songs have touched my spirit and helped me think about how the Lord made us musical beings!  They have propelled me to a whole new level of worship. He fashioned us and made us to be moved by music and He loves music as well! Sermon on the Mount has shown me my barrenness and how much I need the Lord to perfect His will in my life!  I have set the goal higher and purposed in my heart to go after the Beattitudes with zeal and determination!  The Lord is rooting out of me the mindset of perfection and allowing me to lean on Him for everything! Life of David has been my favorite class of all!  We focused on the different seasons of David’s life and how each season in our own lives are new and different opportunities to worship and love our God!  David also showed me what it is like to be a man/woman after God’s own heart!  David knew that he was weak and not qualified on the outside, but He also knew God does not look at the outside appearance, but looks at the heart!  I have been meditating on this revelation and have found that it changed my whole mindset.  I am confident in my love for the Lord and His love for me, but more importantly I know that God does not see what man sees.  He sees something better!

I have a few praises!  I am still living with a wonderful family that has taken me into their home and blessed me abundantly!  I have been able to speak into their lives and they have ministered to me and been a huge blessing!! I love them very much and I thank God for their friendships!! I am still at David’s Bridal.  I just passed my 2 year mark yesterday!  I’m so thankful to have a job in this economy because I know how hard it is to find one!  I have been able to pay off my tuition for this semester.  I only have one more payment here in Dec. and after that, I am no longer in debt to the school! Praise the Lord!!

Thank you all for your prayers and support!  I am eagerly waiting for the next semester, which starts Jan. 17th!  I am so excited to continue my training as an intercessory missionary!  I have had the opportunity to contend for so many nations, including our own and I have become my sister’s intercessor as well!  As most of you know, Naomi has moved to Africa and is with a ministry called Zion Project!  I have joined her as a partner in prayer, contending for breakthrough in Gulu, Uganda.  Check out her blog at www.naomiformissions.blogspot.com.

 PRAYERS:
I want to ask for you to pray for me this semester for the Lord to provide for my tuition.  I am praying for the Lord to raise up people with marketplace callings who have the heart to fund the prayer movement by giving monthly.  The Lord has shown me that some are called to be here at IHOP and sow into the Kingdom through prayer and fasting.  Others are called to go to the nations and spread the gospel.  And then there are those who fund both of these movements by sowing into the Kingdom through support.  All of these roles are equally important and one can not successfully function without the other.  I am the prayer intercessor who will soon be the missionary that goes to the nations.  This training is crucial.  It is preparing me and allowing me to go deep in the word of God, worship leading, and intimacy with Jesus.  I want to be rooted and grounded in His love before I am commissioned to the nations!

So I am asking you to ask the Lord if you are that person who will join me.  Together we will usher in the Lord’s coming through prayer and missions.  Tuition this semester is $2,500.  If you feel like you want to give a one time gift or commit to a monthly donation for this next year.  Both can be tax deductible!  make the checks out to IHOP and send it to my address below.  Please do not put my name on the check, if you want it to be tax deductible.  Put a sticky note, with my name on it, in the envelope separately.  (If you do not want it to be tax deductible, you can just send a check made out to me personally!) Thank You to those who give regularly and diligently! I appreciate you so much!!

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! It’s a wonderful season of Joy and Thanksgiving!
